Anti-Medical School Syllabus
Statement of Interest
Please submit the attached form if you are interested in participating. You may complete the form in class or submit it electronically.
Priority will be given to bioengineering students. Other graduate students are also eligible to apply.
Course Information
The Anti-Medical School course is listed as Bioengineering 298 (24). The class meets from 4 pm-6 pm in 290 Hearst Mining Memorial Building on the UC Berkeley campus from August 26 through December 9, 2009.

Students registering for credit are required to attend all sessions.
White Papers
A team of two or three students will collaboratively write a summary white paper for each session. The session assignments are listed on the schedule. If you attend sessions, you will be asked to participate in the white papers whether or not you register for credit.
Instructions:

Use this template for the summary white paper.

Upload your final document to the White Papers page on the antimedicalschool Google Group. If you have problems, send the paper to the GSI by email.

Papers are due two weeks after the session.

Set up a meeting with the speaker to discuss your white paper. If you are not able to set up a meeting, email the speaker your paper and invite them to discuss it with you. You will be introduced to the speaker in class and can get their contact information from Linda Eng.
